Keenen Ivory Wayans
The multihyphenate had already directed and starred in the Blaxploitation spoof I'm Gonna Git You Sucka (1988) when Fox execs approached Keenen Ivory Wayans about developing a variety show.
Wayans would write, produce, direct, and star in the show, appearing in classic skits like the Homeboy Shopping Network and impersonating Mike Tyson. By season 3, however, Wayans stopped going on camera.
